TRANSITION YEAR
PEER EDUCATION PROGRAMME 2020 - 2021
We are happy to report this year, adhering to Public Health guidelines, our TY Peer Education Programme continues. Trainees (Peer Educators) have been made aware of the level of commitment required and attended a five, full day, training course in Drogheda spaced out over the months of September & October. On completion of this training our Peer Educators imparted their knowledge, in pairs, over four classes to each first year group in our school.
PEER EDUCATION PROGRAMME 2019 - 2020
Congratulations to last years TY Students Sara Jane Mooney, Kennedy Louise Deyear, Alisha Brennan and Erin Delaney who were recently awarded their Peer Education Certificates. The above students attended 5 training days learning the dangers of Alcohol and Drugs. On completion they then imparted their information learned by giving classes to our CSPE students.
