Dear Parent /Guardian.
The mid term break has arrived!
Important for all students to take a well-earned rest and re charge the batteries. Particularly important for exam students who have just completed their respective mock examination programme. On that note I want to thank and congratulate 3rd year, 6th year and LCA exam candidates for the professional and committed manner in which they approached this examination period. It will stand all of them in good stead when the June examinations commence.
Please remember Monday 19th February 2024 is a staff training day so no school for students. Class resumes for all from 8.45am on Tuesday 20th February 2024 with the exception of TY students who are on two weeks work experience.
5th Year Parent Teacher meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 28th February from 3.30pm to 6pm.
Senior options evening for current 3rd year and 4th year students considering enrolment on the LCA programme or the Transition Year programme or the established Leaving Certificate programme for the school year 2024 / 2025 takes place from 6.30pm on Tuesday 27th February 2024. Venue will be the Teanglann. Reminder will issue nearer the time.
Our U-15 soccer team have reached an important sporting final. We are playing Dun an Ri College, Kingscourt in the Northeast League Minor Division Three Final. The game takes place on Thursday 22nd February 2024. Wishing our team (players and coaches) all the very best!
Vaccination programme for 1st year students takes place on Wednesday 21st February 2024. This is for the 1st Year Vaccination of HPV, Tdap & MenACWY.
Please remind your child to attend school on this day. The vaccination initiative is a very important one for the physical health and well being of young people.
