Code of Conduct

The disciplinary structure of the College is designed to encourage a positive contribution, by implementing a system of black marks and merit marks that facilitate a student to negate negative behaviour by positive contribution.

The Dean of Residence assisted by the Year Heads assign black marks to the students, the marks accumulate to both the student and his Clann.
A student's positive behaviour in every discipline, academic, cultural, citizenship, and sport, is rewarded with merit marks, whereas a student's negative behaviour may earn him/her penalties outlined in the College Code of Conduct (available on request).

Consumption of alcohol on the College Campus is strictly forbidden throughout all Years. Students are penalised for not cooperating, for not handing up homework, for bringing the name of the College into disrepute, for incidents of gross misconduct or disrespect.

The Clann with the best disciplinary record is rewarded on a fortnightly basis, at the end of Term and at the end of the School Year. Keen competition exists between Clanns.

Students caught smoking cannabis on the premises can expect expulsion. Students and parents are expected to accept the College Code of Conduct on enrolment.
