North Leinster Shield Final

CONGRATULATIONS
Our senior boys Gaelic football team had a fantastic victory against Lanesboro CC on Tuesday May 10th. They defeated Lanesboro 5-15 to 0-10 to win the North Leinster Shield in St.Loman’s Mullingar.
Match Report
The match started well with an early goal from Duguid McDonough. The lads continued to push forward with more scores added from Christian Reddin, Senan McKeon, Andrew Tyrell and Oisin Johnston. In the second half, we were equally impressive and we closed out the game with some brilliant long range scores from Jamie Murphy, among the standouts.
Some top performers on the day were Senan McKeon, Gareth Keogh, Ben McDonnell and Floyd Runsewe.
It was a brilliant day for the players as this was the final game for our sixth year players in the Gormanston jersey.
The players have been a credit to the school and their families throughout all the games this year.
